Every year the community that surrounds the CLF gathers just before Christmas to discuss high powered laser physics. At the forefront of the talks is the user community giving those that are new to conferences an opportunity to talk about recent findings from their experiments.
This year the conference is held from 16th – 18th December 2013 and details of the event can be found at the Central Laser Facility’s HPL 2013Â webpage. Invitation. The conference serves as a platform to discuss all aspects surrounding high powered lasers, focusing on results obtained from the Astra-Gemini and Vulcan laser systems, hot topics this year will include the completion of the Orion laser facility. Scitech will be present to discuss advances in laser targetry and auxiliary items.
